About This Visa
Indian ordinary-passport holders need a Schengen C. Usual staff path: BLS International in India, then the Embassy in New Delhi decides. Embassy announcement: Indian C from 1 December 2023 at BLS Delhi, Mumbai, and Bangalore — book only on https://blsslovakiavisa.com/india/. BLS contact also lists Kolkata and Chennai — keep both. Bangladesh, Bhutan, Maldives, Nepal, and Sri Lanka residents still lodge at this Embassy (or the mission that represents Slovakia there), in person, no agents; appointments cons.delhi@mzv.sk, with the online form printed. Honorary consuls are not tourist visa counters. National D slots stay on cons.delhi@mzv.sk — not this holiday C.
Documents Required
BLS India Schengen checklist (Commission India list on the BLS site) + MFA Schengen visa page
- Signed Schengen form. Passport as the Visa Code: issued within 10 years, 2 blank pages, 3 months after leaving Schengen. One colour photo under 6 months, stuck on the form (BLS tourism page)
- Cover letter: purpose, dates, companions, transport, lodging. Tourism: agency booking certificate or other travel-plan paper. Proof of transport and itinerary
- Hotel, holiday home, or campus in each Schengen stop. Host stay: sponsorship / private accommodation
- Original 3 months stamped and signed personal bank statements. ITR acknowledgements last 2 assessment years. Employed: 3 months payslips, contract, leave letter. Self-employed: GST registration, business bank, barcode ITR. Retired: 3 months pension and/or property income
- Copies: biodata page, last page of an Indian passport, previous Schengen stamps if they have them. Insurance min. EUR 30,000, whole Schengen, whole stay (hospital, treatment, repatriation)
- Fingerprints unless taken in the last 59 months; under 12 exempt. BLS: applicants over 12 lodge in person. Minor: notarised consent as on the checklist
