About This Visa
Indian ordinary-passport holders can use the unified e-visa for tourism, private or business visits, and events. Staff default for a short holiday: https://electronic-visa.kdmid.ru / https://evisa.kdmid.ru. No invitation, hotel voucher, or mission visit. Fill the form, pay, print or save the notification, and show it to the carrier and at the border.
Do not use agents — the Embassy India UEV page warns that intermediaries can cause entry refusal. Prefer a non-Gmail address; the portal flags Gmail delays. A valid Russian sticker visa already in the passport means they do not need an e-visa for that trip.
Documents Required
MFA e-visa portal + Embassy India UEV page
- Filled form. Digital photo as the form marks
- Scan of the passport biodata page with the machine-readable zone
- Pay the consular fee on the portal (non-Russian bank card)
- Each child needs their own e-visa, even if they are on a parent’s passport
- Insurance on the form is optional for issuance — the FAQ says missing insurance data is not a ground to refuse the e-visa or entry
