About This Visa

Indian ordinary-passport holders are Category B: they do not need a visa before travel, but they pay for and get a visa at the Zimbabwe port of entry. Pre-fill the entry declaration on https://evisa.gov.zw before they fly. Staff default for a short holiday is this path.

Do not quote unofficial “must e-Visa only” sites for India. Officers can still refuse entry. Immigration may change the visa type; the amount is what the counter prints.

Documents Required

Category B — port of entry

  • Valid passport and travel plans. Exact counter checklist is set at the port
  • Pre-filled online entry declaration from https://evisa.gov.zw
  • Visa fee in USD (ordinary single at port: USD 30)
  • Return / onward and funds as the officer asks

Processing time

About 7 working days on average. Apply at least 3 weeks before travel.

Stay period

Single: one month. Double: three months. Multiple: six months, from the issue date.

Validity

As on the e-Visa. Validity starts from the date stated; they may enter any day inside that window.
