About This Visa
Indian ordinary-passport holders need a Uruguayan consular tourist visa before travel. The Ministry of the Interior admission table lists India as “Necesita Visa” for common passports — prior authorization from Migration is required. There is no e-visa or visa-on-arrival path for this nationality on the ordinary passport.
File at the Embassy of Uruguay in New Delhi. Consulates gather the papers and Migration authorizes the visa (about 20 working days after lodging, plus embassy handling). Tourist stay: up to 90 days, extendable once by 90 days, with multiple entries as granted. Fee: USD 42, payable only if the visa is granted.
