About This Visa
Indian ordinary-passport holders are not on the Tonga Revenue & Customs visa-on-arrival list. Citizens of all other countries need a visa before arrival. Apply to the Immigration Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (tongapermit@gmail.com).
Invest in Tonga (official investment site) lists the same pre-approval path and documents. VOA, where it exists, still needs a valid return ticket to a country they can enter, and funds. Visitor visa: no employment, business or study.
Extensions: Immigration in Nuku’alofa (Salote Road) or Vava’u (Tonga Development Bank building, 1st floor, Neiafu) before the current visa ends. Invest in Tonga mentions extending beyond 31 days.
