About This Visa
Indian ordinary-passport holders need a visa. They are not visa-free. Ordinary India is not on the New Delhi visa-system visa-free table (that table only lists India for diplomatic and service passports, up to 30 days). Usual staff path: official e-Visa at https://www.evisa.tj. India is on the simplified-visa country list (Republic of India). Do not send a Delhi tourist to a third-party “Tajikistan visa” site.
Apply only from outside Tajikistan. Pay in US dollars by Visa, Mastercard, or American Express. The portal emails a download link; also keep a print or phone copy. Officers can check it in the system. e-Visa has no link to the Embassy — questions go to the portal Contact form, not New Delhi.
Portal FAQ and New Delhi: stay no more than 60 calendar days from arrival. Visa valid 90 days. Not extendable except force majeure.
Documents Required
