About This Visa
Indian ordinary-passport holders get a free 90-day visitor permit on arrival if they meet the papers. Foreign nationals without a Temporary Resident Permit or Samoan citizenship are on this path (MPMC border services).
No work on a visitor permit. Business visitors who are paid offshore and only visiting a branch, negotiating or attending a conference use a Business Visitor Permit — still not local employment. Other business needs Temporary Residence approved before travel.
To stay longer as a visitor, apply in Samoa on the temporary residence form (MPMC100) with onward ticket, funds and accommodation.

- Passport valid at least 6 months after intended departure from Samoa
- Valid visa or permit for the next country
- Accommodation: hotel/resort, or village and family name if staying with people
- Proof of funds (typically a bank statement)
- No deportation record, no health risk to Samoa, no criminal sentence of 1 year or more, not on an alert list
