As granted on the eVisa. Enter within 6 months of issue or the permit is invalid.

Passport valid at least 6 months from intended travel. Entry permit only for the passport’s remaining validity.

About This Visa
Indian ordinary-passport holders need a visa. All foreign visitors need one (ICA). Visa on arrival is only for selected nationalities — check ica.gov.pg; do not send an Indian tourist to VOA as the plan.
Usual holiday path: eVisa Tourist (own itinerary) on the official portal (evisa.ica.gov.pg / ica.gov.pg). Not a third-party site. Fees in USD, card only, not refunded if refused. No cash. No American Express.
Easy Visitor Permit (30/60 days) is for eligible VOA nationalities. Do not file EVP unless the portal lists India for that class. Transit under 7 hours: no visa; over 7 hours: visitor eVisa.
Documents Required
ICA 2025 booklet — Tourist (own itinerary)
- Request letter from the applicant
- Copy of valid passport bio page
- Travel itinerary with confirmed onward/return ticket and proof they are financially secure
Tour package: letter from a tour agent registered with PNG TPA and IPA, plus passport and itinerary. Visiting relatives: same three papers as own itinerary. Officer may ask for more. Apply only through www.ica.gov.pg / evisa.ica.gov.pg.
