About This Visa

Indian ordinary-passport holders need a visa. India is not on the MFA 60-day visa-free list. Usual staff path: official e-Visa at https://www.evisa.e-gov.kg. That file has the same entry right as a sticker visa. Each traveller needs their own e-Visa, including infants.

The English portal currently describes Tourist visa type TS as a short stay of up to 30 calendar days. An MFA visa page still describes TS as up to 60 days and lists USD 40 (one month, single) and USD 50 (two months, single). Quote the portal checkout for an e-Visa fee, and keep both official stay figures in mind.

Fill the e-Visa form in English. Pay by Visa or Mastercard (the card need not be in the traveller’s name). Fees are not refunded if the file is refused, unused, or mistyped. Do not buy tickets before the approval notice.

Valid passport (scan). Portal: valid at least 6 months after the requested visa; at least 2 unused pages; not damaged; no unofficial remarks. An MFA mission page also asks for 6 months from the date of entry — keep both.

How to apply

Open https://www.evisa.e-gov.kg. Use Get information → Do I need visa? and select India.
Apply for a visa. Form in English. Confirm the verification email within 72 hours or the file is cancelled.
Upload the passport scan and photo. Pay on the portal.
Print the approved e-Visa and travel on the same passport.

A mistake after payment means a new application. Continue an unfinished file with the reference number. Status: Check status on the same site.

Who can apply

Indian ordinary-passport holders need a visa for tourism.
Usual path: e-Visa on https://www.evisa.e-gov.kg (no Embassy appointment).
Sticker visa: Embassy in New Delhi, with a DKS visa-support number.
Manas airport visa-on-arrival for India is only for a tourist visa of up to one month, and only if they hold a valid residence permit of the UAE, Kuwait, Qatar, Brunei, Oman, or Bahrain. An Indian passport alone does not qualify.
Airside transit: no visa if they do not leave the international transit area.

Enter and exit only through the MFA-listed international checkpoints (Manas and Osh airports, plus named road points including Ak-Jol, Irkeshtam, and Torugart). An older MFA page names only Manas, Osh, and Ak-Jol. Reconfirm the crossing on the portal.
Register at the place of stay within 5 working days of entry unless the traveller’s nationality is on the portal’s registration-exemption list.

How to track

e-Visa: Check status on https://www.evisa.e-gov.kg with the reference number. If the system returns the file, the email says what to fix; the 5-working-day clock restarts after the correction.

Embassy sticker: New Delhi mission. Lost reference number: Visa Center contacts on the portal.

Watch-outs

Do not buy air tickets before the e-Visa approval notice.
No refund if refused, unused, or mistyped.
Tourist TS does not allow paid work.
The MFA tourist fee table (USD 40 / USD 50) and the e-Visa checkout can differ — use the amount the portal shows that day.
