About This Visa

Indian ordinary-passport holders need a visa for Eritrea. The Embassy of the State of Eritrea in New Delhi issues a tourist entry visa for residents of India (and listed neighbouring coverage countries on the guidelines PDF).

Email the required papers first. After the Embassy accepts the file, they contact you with the fee and how to send the passport for the sticker. The visa is not issued until payment is confirmed.

Documents Required

Tourist visa — email set (Embassy guidelines)

  2. Completed Entry Visa Application Form (download from the Embassy site)

  3. Applicant’s CV

  4. Travel history

After approval: pay as the Embassy instructs, then send the passport for the sticker.

  3. Wait for the Embassy to confirm approval, fee, and how to send the passport.
  4. Pay promptly, then send the passport for the sticker.

Who can apply

  • Indian ordinary-passport holders / residents of India need a tourist entry visa from the Embassy in New Delhi.
  • No e-Visa path on the Embassy site.
  • Business / employment visas start with the host in Eritrea via the Department of Emigration — the Embassy does not take those until Immigration approves.
