2. Good to Know

Rules and notes that apply to every visa type

How to apply

  1. Travel with a valid passport, hotel/accommodation proof, and return ticket.
  2. At the international airport immigration desk, request the visa on arrival.
  3. Pay EUR 30 and receive the stamp / sticker as issued.

Who can apply

  • Indian ordinary-passport holders: visa on arrival for up to 45 days (MEA table).
  • Usual staff path: arrive with papers and pay EUR 30 at immigration — no pre-embassy tourist sticker required on that table.

Embassy

No resident Comoros embassy in New Delhi. India’s Embassy in Antananarivo is concurrently accredited to Comoros (MEA India–Comoros brief).

For ordinary-passport tourism, use the visa-on-arrival path on the MEA facility table unless a mission later requires otherwise.

Watch-outs

  • Do not invent USD or KMF fee tables from agents — quote EUR 30 from the MEA facility table.
  • VOA is not a guarantee of entry — officer decides at the border.
  • Third-party “e-visa” sites are not the MEA path for Indians.

How to track

Visa on arrival is issued at the border — there is no pre-travel tracking number on the MEA table. For mission questions: Embassy of India, Antananarivo (concurrent accreditation).
